Highways England works to replace safety barriers on and around the Leigham roundabout will now continue until Monday 5 November.
The barrier upgrade was due to finish by 6am this coming Monday but we have now been advised it is a week behind schedule.
The following traffic management arrangements are in place between now and then:
Slip road from Marsh Mills roundabout towards Leigham
One lane closed until Sunday 4 November
Whole road closed on the nights of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 October (8pm to 6am)
Leigham Roundabout (on approach to A38 westbound on-slip)
One lane closed until Sunday 28 October
A38 westbound on-slip and off-slip
Closed on the nights of Friday 26, Monday 29, Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 October and on the nights of Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Sunday 4 November (8pm to 6am)
Councillor Sue Dann, Cabinet Member for Environment and Street Scene said: “We appreciate how frustrating it is for this work to be taking longer than planned and we’d like to thank drivers for their continued patience while it is completed.”
If we are advised of any further changes we will post the details here.
