Report published on Plan for Libraries consultation feedback

A report detailing feedback from our recent Plan for Libraries consultation has now been published.

The report will be considered by a cross-party panel of councillors as part of a scrutiny review meeting on Monday 15 May.

As well as discussing the feedback, the panel will hear from interested members of the public, partner agencies and other councillors, before making recommendations on the proposals.

These recommendations will help to inform the final Plan for Libraries, which will be published towards the end of June and considered by Full Council in early July.

Councillor Glenn Jordan, Cabinet Member for Culture, said: “We received almost 3,750 responses as part of the consultation and we’re really pleased so many people took the time to share their views. This feedback, along with the recommendations of our scrutiny panel, will help us ensure we are considering everything when developing our final plan.”
