Apprentices are being invited to a very special party at Oceana Plymouth on Friday 18 March.

Ping! Party Plymouth will have all the usual attractions of a top night out – great music, light show, house DJ and licensed bar (for the 18-and-overs) – but with a difference.

It will also include loads of table tennis fun including a Beat the Boss challenge.

And when the Ping! Party finishes, apprentices and guests aged 18 and over will be able to stay on and enjoy Oceana for the rest of the evening with their own VIP lounge.

Hosted by our Sports Development Unit, the event will celebrate this year’s National Apprenticeship Week (14 to 18 March) and is being organised in partnership with the Plymouth Apprenticeship Managers Network, 1000 Club, Table Tennis England, Active Devon and Joola Table Tennis Club, with funding support from Sport England.

Entry is free of charge but places are limited and apprentices must book in advance. Each apprentice can take along one guest.

Deputy Council Leader Peter Smith said: “This is a great way to celebrate the contribution our apprentices make and promote these opportunities to other young people who are considering their career options. And even if Ping! isn’t your thing it will be a great party!”
