Leader welcomes interest in city’s live music scene

Councillor Tudor Evans, leader of the Council, said: “Following my statement about live music in Plymouth, I’ve been really encouraged to receive responses from a number of existing venues and music industry professionals who are all keen to be a part of a wider discussion about how we can develop the city’s music scene. We’ve also received a number of suggestions of exciting opportunities to explore, including some regarding potential new venues.

“I’m really grateful for all the responses and plans are now underway to move the conversations forward and set up a round table meeting to set plans in motion. More information about these plans will be shared in the next couple of weeks.”
