Last chance to see Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition

There is less than a fortnight left to catch an international showcase of the very best in nature photography at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year is co-owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Worldwide. Following its showing in London in late 2014 it’s now on an international tour that will take in 12 countries worldwide.

Now in its 50th year, the annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition is widely recognised for taking a lead in the artistic representation of the natural world.

The resulting exhibition, which features a range of inspiring images that highlight the variety and diversity of our planet‘s landscapes, environments, animal and plant life, will be on display at the Museum until Saturday 30 May.

The winning images from the Museum and Art Gallery’s ‘Focus on Nature’ photography competition are also displayed in the gallery.

Exhibition opening hours are 10am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 5pm on Saturdays. Admission is free.
