Focus on Nature for Museum and Art Gallery photography competition

Could you capture a winning wildlife photo? If so, your work could be displayed alongside some of the best in the country at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery.

The ‘Focus on Nature’ competition is inspired by the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, which is coming to Plymouth at the end of March on an international tour from the Natural History Museum, London.

The competition is open to everyone aged five and over and is free to enter. There are three categories:

Landscapes – urban, rural, coastal, parkland as well as images of human impact from litter to landfill
Animals – wings, tails, legs, underwater or on the land
Plants and their Relatives – from the tiniest flower to the largest tree

The entries for each category will be judged in three age bands – primary school age, secondary school age and adult. Entrants have until 6pm on Thursday 12 March to submit their images.

The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition will be on display at the Museum and Art Gallery from 28 March to 30 May.
