Work will soon be starting on The Range’s new Head Office and superstore at Seaton Hill.

The new HQ will accommodate up to 700 staff, creating 450 new jobs, while the superstore will create a further 120 new jobs for Plymouth.

Councillor Ian Bowyer, Leader of Plymouth City Council, visited the site with The Range CEO, Nigel Oddy, earlier this week.

Ian said: “It’s fantastic to see that work will soon be starting on this new development and the creation of more than 500 jobs is brilliant news for Plymouth. I’m delighted that we’ve been able to work with The Range to be able to bring these plans to fruition.”

Owner and founder of The Range, Chris Dawson, commented “It is great to get to the next steps in this project and again I would like to thank the Council for being so supportive in helping create new jobs and keep the business prospects of the city alive”
