Central Park summer activities

The Council has announced a first raft of activities to be held in Central Park this summer holiday.

Ranging from archery tag to bug hunting and from football to orienteering, the activities will all be free and will cater for a variety of ages.

Councillor Sue Dann, Cabinet member for the Environment and Street Scene, said: “We know that a lot of people were disappointed that we couldn’t open the new Play Space in time for the summer holiday and we’ve explained why this is the case.

“We promised we’d lay on some activities and I think the broad range of things on offer should go some way to making up for not being able to open the park.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to the Plymouth Sports Charity for helping us out at such short notice.”
